Significant Changes Looming for NFL Team After Next Season, Expert Warns

Before the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL game on December 31, 2017, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, the New Orleans Saints helmet is laid out on the field.
The last time the New Orleans Saints were viewed as surefire winners of the playoffs was a very long time ago.
The squad hasn’t been able to move on from Drew Brees’ retirement even though they have a ton of talent on both sides of the ball.

Furthermore, Dennis Allen hasn’t exactly performed up to the norms and expectations set during the Sean Payton era.

In light of this, NFL expert Adam Rank thinks that if this team misses the playoffs in 2024, they may undergo a significant rebuild (via Around the NFL).

The Saints have the players to try and win the NFC South, even though the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers could also be contenders.

In addition, Derek Carr’s debut season with the team was somewhat underwhelming.

If things don’t go Carr’s way early in the season, they might put pressure on Spencer Rattler, who they selected late in the NFL Draft and who has apparently drawn a lot of attention during training camp.

Even though this new endeavor needs more success or indications of promise, the Saints have shown a great deal of patience.

However, since this is a results-driven industry and we all know how quickly things can change in sports, they will need to deliver by 2024.
