Kraken Centre Yanni Gourde Announces Departure, ‘My Presence Is No Longer Needed by Team Management’

Lukas Dragicevic, a prospect for the Seattle Kraken, was purchased by the Prince Albert Raiders from the Tri-City Americans.

The Raiders also acquired a seventh-round pick in 2025 along with Eric Kahl. Terrell Goldsmith, a prospect for the Utah Hockey Club, Grady Martin, Nathan Preston, and a third-round pick in 2025 were obtained by the Americans in exchange.

In 2023–24, Dragicevic led the Americans’ blue line with 14 goals and 50 points, good for 15th place in the scoring standings among WHL defensemen. A year ago, the 19-year-old had 75 points. Dragicevic, the fourth overall pick in the 2020 WHL Draft, departs Tri-City ranked fourth in franchise scoring among defencemen with 157 points over 202 appearances.

At the 2023 U18 World Championships, the Richmond, British Columbia, native and Canada took home the bronze medal. The Kraken selected him with the 57th overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft.

Goldsmith tied his career high with three goals last season while his 15 points were a new personal best. The Fort St. James, British Columbia native was selected with the 15th overall pick in the 2020 WHL Draft and played in 185 games over the course of four seasons with the Raiders.

The 19-year-old defenseman was selected 102nd overall in the NHL Draft of 2023.
