Ex-Panthers exec Adrian Wilson facing domestic violence charges

Adrian Wilson was most recently the vice president of player personnel for the Carolina Panthers. We now know more about the possible reasons behind his leaving.

On June 1, the Scottsdale Police Department in Arizona placed Wilson under arrest on three counts of domestic violence. The 44-year-old former player who is now an executive was accused with disorderly conduct—disruptive behavior or fighting—and intentional assault resulting in bodily harm as well as property damage between $250 and $2,000 dollars. There are three misdemeanor charges total.

Wilson was taken into custody at home on June 1 shortly after 6:00 a.m., according to Scottsdale police. Wilson posted bond on the same day, according to records. According to ESPN, the next court hearing is July 16 for a virtual case management session.
