Chloe Bailey Claps Back At Critics Claiming She’s Too “Goofy & Nerdy” To Be Sexy

Chloe Bailey is addressing those who don’t think she can be both sultry and funny at the same time.

The R&B singer owns her sexuality and is comfortable with her physique, although some criticize it as fake. In a recent Instagram Live discussion, Bailey responded to her doubters by stating that, like many women, she is a well-rounded person with many facets to her personality.

In particular, she addressed the assertion that “Her goofy and nerdy nature makes her sexy act believable.” Bailey asked. Why am I unable to be both?

“It’s not an act, honey,” she said. However, that will not be available to everyone. Both are possible for women. Women are complex beings.

Bailey penned the song “Lady in the streets but a freak in the sheets,” making light of the difference between her public and private selves.

In the end, Bailey claims that her music—which she referred to as her “diary”—capsulates her identity. “You’ll see a side of me there that you guys don’t get to see,” she said. It could come as a surprise.

Concurrently, Chloe Bailey recently disclosed that she conquered her phobias to co-star with Russell Crowe in the reimagining of William Friedkin’s classic 1973 horror film The Exorcist, titled The Exorcism.

She told inews last week, “I avoid anything scary, but look where I’ve ended up.” The self-described “scaredy cat” embraced the script with enthusiasm despite her fear of the dark and her claim to have “never watched a horror film in my life.”
