CeeDee Lamb’s Asking Price for Contract Extension Reportedly Leaked.

As training camp approaches, the Dallas Cowboys will need to make some important decisions regarding their roster. As of current now, the market worth of NFL quarterbacks is close to $60 million annually, if not more, so they still need to hash out the terms of Dak Prescott’s contract extension. If the organisation decides not to sign him to an extension, he might leave free agency in the upcoming summer.

Prescott isn’t the only Cowboys player, of course, whose contract is up for renewal. Linebacker Micah Parsons and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb are also slated for significant paychecks. But Lamb’s decision to wait to participate in team workouts until after his contract negotiations has dominated headlines this offseason.

Many have been speculating about how much money Lamb is looking for in his next deal for weeks. Although neither Lamb nor his attorneys have acknowledged the amount, nor have the Cowboys, many are questioning whether the two parties can ever reach a compromise in light of a reported leak of his demand.

It’s been shocking to see how much money elite wide receivers are receiving from different NFL teams this offseason. Amon-Ra St. Brown, who will make $30 million a year, signed a four-year, $120 million contract with the Detroit Lions earlier this year. Subsequently, Justin Jefferson signed a $140 million four-year contract with the Minnesota Vikings, which will pay him $35 million year.
