The University of Texas Longhorns have secured a major recruiting victory, as 4-star wide receiver T.J. Moore, previously committed to Clemson University, has flipped his commitment to Texas. This surprise move is a significant boost to the Longhorns’ recruiting class and strengthens their offense.
Moore, a highly touted prospect from North Carolina, had initially committed to Clemson in June. However, after taking several visits to Austin, he ultimately decided to switch his commitment to the Longhorns.
Moore’s decision is a testament to Texas’ recruiting prowess and its ability to attract top talent from across the country.
“T.J. is an exceptional talent with a rare combination of size, speed, and athleticism,” said Texas Head Coach Steve Sarkisian. “We’re thrilled to welcome him to our program and look forward to seeing him make an immediate impact on our offense.”
Moore’s commitment is a significant addition to Texas’ recruiting class, which continues to build momentum. With Moore on board, the Longhorns are poised to make a strong push in the Big 12 Conference.
