Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has never been one to shy away from controversy. In a recent press conference, Allen addressed the growing chatter surrounding his MVP candidacy, making it clear that individual accolades are not his primary focus.
“I don’t care about MVPs,” Allen stated emphatically. “I just want to play my way and help this team win.”
Allen’s comments come on the heels of a stellar performance in the Bills’ 35-20 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. The third-year quarterback threw for 368 yards and 3 touchdowns, leading his team to their fifth consecutive win.
Despite his impressive statistics, Allen has faced criticism from some analysts who question his consistency and decision-making. However, the 25-year-old signal-caller remains unfazed, insisting that his sole concern is helping the Bills secure a championship.
“It’s not about me; it’s about this team,” Allen emphasized. “We’ve got one goal, and that’s to bring a Super Bowl title to Buffalo. If I happen to receive individual recognition along the way, great. But that’s not what drives me.”
Allen’s teammates and coaches have rallied around their quarterback, praising his leadership and work ethic.
