The Chicago Bulls made a few moves in the summer and hinted at potential future additions after years of essentially sticking with their team and making little changes.
They may soon be saying goodbye to two of their top stars as they continue to shuffle their team.
According to Evan Sidery, the Bulls are expected to once again try to send away both Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic.
Both of these players “generated little interest in the summer, but Chicago hopes for a better market heading towards the trade deadline.”
If the Bulls really do follow through with this, it’ll be a massive shift for the team and a sign that they are finally trying to do something differently.
Vucevic is averaging 20.8 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists and has been a part of the Bulls for five seasons.
As for LaVine, he has been considered the face of the franchise by some fans and has averaged 24.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists during his eight years with the team.
The Bulls have been reluctant to do more than bid farewell to Alex Caruso and DeMar DeRozan, who both left recently.
They might receive a lot for LaVine and Vucevic, depending on their position at the trade deadline.
They might make a significant profit if they can send these players to clubs that are now in dire need of victory.
Bulls supporters have been hoping for improvements for years, and they may soon get them.
