Utah Hockey Club owner Ryan Smith announced the addition of Finnish hockey legend Mikko Koivu to the team’s coaching staff. Koivu, a 16-year NHL veteran and former Minnesota Wild captain, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the young franchise.

Koivu, 39, retired from professional hockey in 2021 after playing 1,035 NHL games.
