Baylor Lady Bears Land Top Prospects for 2026 Class: Top Three Stars Commits

Baylor Lady Bears basketball program has scored a huge recruiting victory, securing commitments from three of the top high school prospects for the 2026 class: Kate Harpring, Adaline Sheplee, and Olivia Vukosa. This trio of elite players is expected to elevate Baylor’s already strong program and set the stage for future success in the NCAA.

Kate Harpring, a standout guard and the daughter of former NBA player Matt Harpring, is known for her incredible basketball IQ, playmaking ability, and leadership on the court. Ranked among the top guards in the nation, Harpring’s decision to join Baylor marks a significant win for the Lady Bears, as she is widely expected to make an immediate impact as both a scorer and facilitator.

Adaline Sheplee, a versatile forward, brings a unique blend of size and skill to Baylor. At 6-foot-2, Sheplee has dominated at the high school level with her ability to score inside, rebound, and defend multiple positions. Her outside shooting and court awareness make her a dynamic player who can stretch the floor, providing the Lady Bears with a much-needed weapon in their frontcourt.

Rounding out the class is Olivia Vukosa, a 6-foot-4 center known for her defensive prowess and ability to control the paint. Vukosa’s shot-blocking and rebounding skills have made her one of the top centers in her class, and she will likely become a key part of Baylor’s interior defense. Her physicality and presence in the post will add a new dimension to the Lady Bears’ game on both ends of the floor.

Baylor head coach Nicki Collen expressed her excitement over the commitments, stating, “We’re thrilled to welcome Kate, Adaline, and Olivia to the Baylor family. These young women are exceptional athletes, and they each bring something special to our program. Their talent, work ethic, and leadership will be crucial as we continue to build a championship-caliber team.”

The addition of Harpring, Sheplee, and Vukosa underscores Baylor’s ability to recruit top-tier talent and solidify its position as a powerhouse in women’s college basketball. With these key pieces in place, the Lady Bears’ future looks brighter than ever, and fans are already anticipating the impact this class will have when they take the court.

This 2026 recruiting class has generated buzz nationwide, as Harpring, Sheplee, and Vukosa have the potential to form the core of Baylor’s next wave of success. As the Lady Bears continue to compete for national championships, these highly regarded recruits will play a pivotal role in maintaining the program’s winning tradition.
