Netflix has announced the upcoming release of a highly anticipated documentary about the iconic British rock band Oasis, set to premiere in March 2025. The film promises an in-depth look at the band’s meteoric rise in the 1990s, chronicling their journey from the streets of Manchester to international stardom. Featuring never-before-seen footage, exclusive interviews with band members, and rare backstage clips, the documentary aims to provide a comprehensive portrait of one of the most influential bands in modern rock history.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Asif Kapadia, who is known for his work on documentaries like Amy and Senna, the film will explore the turbulent relationship between founding brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, whose infamous feuds have been as much a part of the band’s legacy as their chart-topping hits. The documentary will also delve into the making of classic albums such as (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? and Definitely Maybe, offering insights into the creative process behind songs that defined a generation.

Fans can expect an unfiltered look at the band’s highs and lows, including the breakups, reunions, and the notorious battles that played out both onstage and in the tabloids. With a soundtrack featuring remastered versions of Oasis’ greatest hits, the documentary is poised to be a nostalgic yet revealing experience, shedding light on the enduring legacy of a band that shaped the Britpop movement and left an indelible mark on music history.
