Netflix to Release Documentary on Legendary Music Band The Red Hot Chili Peppers in March 2025
Netflix has announced the release of a highly anticipated documentary about the iconic rock band The Red Hot Chili Peppers, set to premiere in March 2025. Titled Funky Monks: The Red Hot Chili Peppers Story, the film promises an in-depth look at the band’s journey from their formation in the early 1980s to becoming one of the most influential acts in rock music history.
Directed by acclaimed documentarian Alison Ellwood, known for her work on music films like History of the Eagles and Laurel Canyon, the documentary will feature never-before-seen archival footage, intimate interviews with current and former band members, and performances from their legendary live shows.
